Samurai Experience is a unique experience outside Japan where you can discover first-hand the traditions of the famous Samurai warriors. A fun, safe and unique way to learn how to use a katana, from using meditation to improve concentration to cutting a bamboo target or similar with an authentic Japanese katana.

No. During the experience, an expert will guide you and be with you at all times. We use appropriate equipment to prevent injuries. During combat between participants, we use special foam swords and protective equipment for the hands, legs, face and head.

The duration depends on the experience and the number of participants.

Full Experience: between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.
Katana Experience: between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours.
Combat Experience: approximately 1 hour.

Experiences with sushi last approximately an additional 1 to 1.5 hours.

We are open every day of the week, morning, afternoon and evening. Check the available times when making your booking. If you cannot find a time that works for you, contact us by phone or WhatsApp.

The recommended group size is between 4 and 14 people. If you are a larger group, no problem: we have two rooms that can operate simultaneously. For smaller groups, the experience is more intimate.

We recommend bringing clean socks, as the experience takes place on a traditional Japanese tatami and shoes are not worn. You can also bring a spare T-shirt. We will provide the clothing you need to become a Samurai during the experience.

Samurai Experience is designed so that children can enjoy it too. The main limitation is height: participants under 140 cm will not be able to perform the cutting exercise with a real katana for safety reasons.

Yes, for safety reasons. Our team reserves the right to prevent a person from participating if they show signs of intoxication or substance use.

Changing a booking means cancelling the existing booking and making a new one. Therefore, the conditions stated in our cancellation policy will apply. If you need to make a change, we recommend contacting Samurai Experience directly.

Yes, as long as the maximum number of participants is not exceeded. You do not need to notify us in advance, and the additional person can pay on arrival on the day of the experience. We accept card payments at our venue.

Yes. Our team supervises the entire experience and the activity is not particularly physically demanding. If you have any specific concerns related to your pregnancy, we recommend discussing them with a healthcare professional beforehand.

Yes. Our venue is 600 m² and the experience takes place in spacious areas of at least 80 m². In addition, a member of our team will always be present to accompany and supervise the group.

We do not use lighting designed to produce effects that could affect people with epilepsy.

Yes. The equipment we use is professional and regularly inspected. For combat activities, we use training foam swords and protective equipment for the head, face, hands and legs. The entire experience is also guided and supervised by an instructor.

At the end of the experience, each adult participant receives a Japanese beer, along with Japanese tea and sweets. For safety reasons, anyone showing signs of intoxication or substance use will not be allowed to participate.
